  • WWF believes that young people are vital to building a sustainable future – and have a key role to play, here and now, in achieving positive change for the environment. Through our Green Ambassadors scheme we will offer resources, activities and workshops to help 5-14s develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need, and our award and badge schemes will reward their individual and group efforts. From our 60,000 base of current young Green Ambassadors, we aim by 2018 to reach 1.1 million young people in primary schools and youth groups, to help them lead and engage with activities to improve their local environment at home, at school and in the community, and take action on wider global environmental issues.
  • We will provide materials and activities to encourage and support young people to get informed, get involved and get sharing on environmental issues.
  • We will run workshops and events to help young people find their own connections with nature, and well as build the skills and confidence to take action to save it
We're still working on our pledge to the #iwill campaign. Next progress update is coming soon, so watch this space!
Quote from Charlotte Hill, CEO at Step Up To Serve
"The #iwill campaign is driven by leaders from across society who are committed to making youth social action a normal part of growing up in the UK. We know that young people want to play an active part in improving their communities, and that in doing so, they develop their own skills for work and life. Over 350 cross-sector organisations so far have pledged to support youth social action, and say #iwill. What will you do?"
