Bright Ideas Trust

Bright Ideas Trust pledge to support the #iwill campaign by:

  • Engaging young people on our Board of Trustees and establish a young people’s advisory group for our organisation
  • Informing the young people we support to set up their own businesses about the value of social action to develop their skills and networks
  • Supporting young people as they become employers themselves to embed social action into their recruitment practices and into the culture and values of their business – and future businesses
  • Becoming a champion for the #iwill campaign and spreading the word about the value of youth social action through our communications
  • Promoting opportunities such as becoming an #iwill ambassador and wider social action opportunities to the young people we work with
  • Running an event or promoting the campaign during #iwill week

We’ve just pledged to the #iwill campaign in August 2017 – watch this space for updates on our progress.

Quote from Charlotte Hill, CEO at Step Up To Serve
“The #iwill campaign is driven by leaders from across society who are committed to making youth social action a normal part of growing up in the UK.
We know that young people want to play an active part in improving their communities, and that in doing so, they develop their own skills for work and life.
Over 700 cross-sector organisations so far have pledged to support youth social action, and say #iwill. What will you do?”
