Breast Cancer Now Scotland

Breast Cancer Now Scotland

At Breast Cancer Now our aim is that by 2050 everyone who gets breast cancer will live.  We will bring together all those affected by the disease to improve the way breast cancer is prevented, detected and treated.

At Breast Cancer Now in Scotland

  • We pledge to provide young people with age-appropriate information on how choices they make in life can impact their future risk of breast cancer
  • We pledge to offer relevant and exciting volunteering opportunities for young people to play a part in our aim to stop women dying of breast cancer by 2050
  • We will provide access to some of Scotland’s top scientists and give young people the chance to experience our cutting-edge research in action. We will also support young women to engage in science and technology by showcasing the innovation and excellence of female cancer scientists whom we support.

We’ve just pledged to the #iwill campaign in November 2016, watch this space for our updates on how we do!

Quote from Charlotte Hill, CEO at Step Up To Serve
“The #iwill campaign is driven by leaders from across society who are committed to making youth social action a normal part of growing up in the UK.
We know that young people want to play an active part in improving their communities, and that in doing so, they develop their own skills for work and life.
Over 600 cross-sector organisations so far have pledged to support youth social action, and say #iwill. What will you do?”
